"Thread kits" must be ordered prior to the seminar. 

As in many of our past seminars you may wish to use your left-over threads to stitch your entire picture.  This particular design has about 15-20 colors.  Kits may be ordered with your registration or in classes (while supplies last).  Individual threads will also be available at the seminar should you run short of a particular color but thread kits will not be available at the seminar.

 

The Friday night social session is a “fun night” designed for our attendees to get to know one another.  (Think Egyptian ) This year we will be having “workshop stations”.  How to transfer pictures on to fabric, beading, new stitches for Saturday’s workshop and more. There will be refreshments, wine, coffees, and teas.  This year you may pick up your badges and register your show and competition pictures on Friday evening.– a prize for the best dressed “Egyptian”.

 

Hotel special; if you’d like to truly enjoy your seminar - plan on staying at the hotel.   Hotel arrangements are to be made directly with the Holiday Inn at 978-535-4600.  Be sure to ask for the ”great rate” of $79 (plus taxes).  Peabody Holiday Inn directions will follow with your registration confirmation letter. Don’t forget our” pajama party.”

 

Luncheon guests; If you are bringing a guest to the luncheon please include $25 and the guest's name with your registration. Guests are also welcome to join us for the 4-5 PM awards presentations.  Don't forget your cameras!!!

 

Show / Competition;     It's important that everyone exhibits at least one picture either in the "show only" (Not judged) category or the judged competition.  This not only makes for a great show but also lets the newer stitchers see what the future may hold.  "Show" entries may be any picture of any size you wish and need not be completed this year. (Repeat appearances are allowed)

 

JUDGING ENTRIES:

·                                No more than 2 entries per person and each must be in a different category.

·                                All entries must be at least a size 2 and framed.

·                                All kit entries must be accompanied by the colored photograph. (3 pts)

·                                Originals may be accompanied by the drawings or photos used in the design.

·                                Each picture must be finished within the past year.
